President Elect.
It is a new era and Obama has promised change. I am an American an I have a high respect for the office of the Presidency. I also hope for my family and my country President elect Obama will serve our country well.
I have two children who will grow up only knowing President Obama as their President. They both will be coming of age through his first term. My self like many fathers and mothers will hold him to a high standard for the example of a leader he will be. May God bless America and Mr. Obama.
Now on a lighter note many people asked what I thought about Michele's dress. Well she can wear what ever she want's. Her husband won and I don't think the dress was all that bad.

New technology new style Iphone
Recently my client Karen called to say she would be late. She was in line for two hours already to get her new I phone and she had two people in front of her. Karen was an hour and a half late. Now unfortunately my clients have had to wait long when I am running late and Karen has always been very patient with me. The same day Sheri called to say her company's system went down and was running late. Sheri runs a cable company and with many customers calling to say they had no cable their phone system also crashed. The two women showed up at the same time. I two was running late any way so it worked out.
With things changing so fast and people having to adapt as fast we will all still have to wait as we change our style. Either a new phone new cable service or a new hair style some things are worth waiting for.

Why I love Dolly Parton
I was born and raised in Oklahoma. Southern Oklahoma to be exact. I did not appreciate Oklahoma then but I miss a lot there that It cost a fortune to have here where I live now in the north east. Much of the time as a kid the was the little transistor radio or the truck radio which picked up the local station in a neighboring town of Madill Ok. Hank Williams Jr, Tammy, Loretta and Kenny Rodgers and Dolly were always on that little station. I would see pictures of Dolly here and there and you heard a lot about her when I was a kid. You could say she stuck out. But I love when she puts that smile on and every thing else the wigs and makeup because the smile still comes through it all. Her music reminds me of simpler times. Her style I get now and when she smiles I still smile with her.
Presidential hair
How will the next President effect your hair. If the economy concerns you, think twice before coloring your own hair. It could cost you more to fix the results from doing it yourself. Unless it becomes all out war on our soil you probably will continue getting your hair cut at the salon. Options for budgeting and maintaining the professional service could be choosing a stylist under the watchful eye of the owner. Not the owner themselves which usually cost you more. Also this supports our economy by supporting a new professional hairstylist. Trends will revolve around economy, and societies moral and psychological sate of minds. Though inspiration and invention along with hopes and dreams will always move style and fashion. So here is to the future, who ever is in charge. Professional hairstylist will keep trying to make you look good through the good and bad.

Summer time hair care.
Wear a hat is my #1 recommendation for protecting your hair from the sun. Also use your beach umbrella.
Color protect shampoo and conditioner will add extra protection. Remember the sun takes paint off cars so no amount of sunblock is going to protect from to much sun. I recommend Paul Mitchell Color Protect for the necessary protection for limited sun exposer.

why can't I grow my hair long?
How is it some people can grow their hair to the floor and others can't grow hair past their shoulders? There are three phases of hair growth. If you genes do not allow your hair to stay on your scalp long enough during these stages it will not get longer. The developing stage where hair is formed is anagen then the hair stops growing in the catagen stage. When the hair remains on your head and is adorning and protecting you is the telogen stage. The hair sheds and falls out in the last stage around a hundred days or so. So if your hair continues to grow longer during the first stage and holds on longer during the last stage you will make it to the floor. If your genetic clock stops growing during the first stage at your shoulders there will your hair adorn you.
